Why Choose Aluminum?

Description: Colonial AluminumTM ornamental fences and gates offer the classic look of ornamental fencing with the durable, no-maintenance appeal of aluminum. Satisfy all your objectives with Colonial Aluminuma wide variety of options, designs, and styles crafted for outstanding value and a fence that will last for years.

Colonial Aluminum was engineered to be one of the strongest aluminum residential fence systems on the market. Designed using larger pickets, rails, and posts to achieve an 8' post spacing, Colonial Aluminum reduces installation costs. Assembled using stainless steel fasteners, or aluminum pop rivets, these panels have the solid look of ornamental iron, without the high maintenance of welded panels. Because it's made from aluminum, red rust problems will not develop to detract from the beauty of your fence. All Colonial Aluminum components are powder-coated for durability, and to keep your fence attractive for many years. A Limited Lifetime Warranty reinforces your peace of mind in knowing you've purchased the best aluminum ornamental fence available.

Colonial Aluminum panels are attached to posts using a bracket that has been bolted through the post for added strength, security, and a finished professional look. Your fencing can be customized with ornate finials, scrolls, rings, and your choice of three distinctive picket tops and post caps. Gates are made to match each style, and all components are welded using a stainless steel rod for a rigid, maintenance-free gate. Special gate hardware is used for safe and smooth gate operation. Most styles can be adapted to meet any pool codes in your area, and provide a safe perimeter fence around your pool.

Applications: Colonial Aluminum was designed for the rigorous demands of the residential homeowner. The attractive finish and extruded aluminum structure combine to provide a fence system able to withstand harsh corrosive environments.

Can I match a specific color?

e*fence offers ornamental fencing in several popular colors. Each powder-coat finish has been specifically formulated for durability, with ultra-violet inhibitors to withstand the elements. It's possible to specially formulate a powder to coat your ornamental fence, but this option may prove to be cost prohibitive on smaller projects.

Are pointed pickets safe around children?

The classic look of a spear picket has been a traditional design for ornamental picket fencing. While we offer these styles, you should take care to ensure they are correctly installed and children are warned of the dangers that exist. To avoid injuries, we recommend that fences less than 6' tall not use these pickets.

Should I be concerned about the gates for my ornamental fencing?

Definitely. Your gate is the only moving part of your fence, therefore, it's subject to the most abuse. Each gate is designed to withstand punishment from pedestrians, pets or vehicles. When installed with our specially designed gate hardware, each of our gates is engineered for years of virtually maintenance-free use, and warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.

My property isn't flat and slopes up and down. Will your ornamental fencing leave big gaps under each panel?

No. Grade changes are usually handled in one of two ways. One attractive option is to stair-step each panel. A second option is to rack or bias the panels, allowing the fence to follow the contour of the ground. Certain styles and systems are more capable of following ground contours, and should be considered for conditions with significant slope.
